DEALER RESPONSIBILITIES
DESIGN SUPPORT SERVICES:
- Review generic furniture plans with designer
- Verify all critical dimensions
- Determine electrical load requirements per workstation based on information received from designer
- Verify outlet and circuit requirements per workstation
- Verify power feed requirements per cluster of workstations
- Prepare CAD drawings complete with specifications for order entry and installation purposes
- Review furniture requirements for private offices, meeting rooms, lunchroom and other special area
- Prepare specifications for these areas
- Negotiate pricing for accessory items with manufacturers on client’s behalf
- Confirm installation dates
ORDER ENTRY:
- Issue purchase orders to manufacturers
- Provide copy of Sales Order to Consultant/Client
- Verify acknowledgements from manufacturers as required
- Issue Change Orders to manufacturers as required
- Expedite furniture as required
INSTALLATION:
- Establish timetable for installation
- Site inspection with Installation Foreman and Consultant to determine site conditions such as receiving area, elevators, floors, staging areas, etc.
- Establish sequence of deliveries
- Site supervisions by Site Co-ordinator and Team Leader as required
- Deficiency Audit with Client/Consultant/Dealer representatives
- Prepare deficiency list with timetable for completion
- Final walk through with Client/Consultant/Dealer representatives
